ABOUT NADDA

Doll collecting is growing in leaps and bounds and is now reputed to be the second largest hobby in the United States. As the number of collectors rapidly grew larger, the need arose for an organization of antique doll dealers that would aid in establishing trust and confidence between collector and dealer.

With this in mind, the National Antique Doll Dealers Association, Inc., a non-profit organization, was founded in 1986. The primary purpose of NADDA is to assure the collecting public that members subscribe to a code of ethics in the conduct of business.

The membership also proposes to actively work to support educational and informative programs on a local and national basis.

It is the intention of NADDA to built a foundation of honesty and integrity so that collectors can buy with confidence, knowing that members of the National Antique Doll Dealers Association will stand behind their dolls. At the present time, NADDA members represent 26 states, Washington D.C. as well as Canada and England. This membership includes many of the foremost authorities on doll collecting. The National Antique Doll Dealers Association hopes to share the accumulation of their knowledge by contributing their services to advance the study of the historical significance, maintenance, restoration and classification of antique dolls.
